I.S.O.L.A. (video: quit, audio: mime) is a project that revolves around the textile tradition that was born in Sardinia and the first edition of the festival Quit Cagliari.
The elements of this performance is a video set focuses on the imagery of textiles Eugene Tavolara Sardinian designers of the first half of the ’900 known for innovation introduced island crafts, and a set decorated with ambient dub rhythms and sounds drawn from tradition popular music of Sardinia.
Quit is a cultural association based in Cagliari, which orbits the contemporary in its various forms.
Quit founded in 2008 by a group of musicians, video artists, web designers, graphic designers and architects joined in the search for new forms of expression and interaction in the context of new technologies. The projects are developed through work study, research, seminars and live performances.
