DOMENICO STRANIERI
Guitarist and composer of electronic music, practice the improvisation early experiences. He attended several musical contexts by building a language of rock, jazz, electronic and improvised music.
He played with Tristan Honsinger,JoyCut, John Cospito, Stefano delle Monache, Clan, Labun, Franco D’Auria, Fabrizio Puglisi, Filippo Monico, Massimo Falascone, Matthew Pennese, Walter Prati, Daniele D’Agaro, Luca Bulgarelli, Gianni Mimmo, Giancarlo Schiaffini (with MMT), Evan Parker (with MMT).
He currently works as a sound designer, takes care of sound art, interaction design and interactive installations. He collaborates with dancers in the field of improvisation and interaction multimodal (Meeting Point – Under the Roof).
As a musician you are devoting to the project leader for Hyperinstruments “SyncnyncS”.
MARIO GABOLA aka ASp
Marco Gabola uses the saxophone as a sound tube act to control feedback and to use home-made electro-chains from recycled materials. He uses feedback of the latter in the CGM of resonances on the leather (Feeddrum), using the fast and repetitive percussiveness of piezo feedback.
The intent is to overcome the concept of “tool” through the use of unstable materials taken to the limit of their physical and mechanical strength, through changes / sudden and unexpected gestures, to pervert the functionality of the factory, from which originally we are used by and we do not use.
No concessions or reference to the beautiful music, seems to stop any possibility of musical performance (if the music has never had one), a symbolic destruction that portends a primitive future without separation / mediation between man and nature.
