An electronic music project that take inspiration both from futurebeat trends and from british ambient sounds.
Lies are Oscar Cini and Pierluigi Iapicca,  from Irpinia (Avellino) and music lovers. The duo began to play together about 10 years ago, around 2001 when they met in a post-hardcore punk band, setting up a partnership that continues still today. Over the years, they passionated to sounds Warp records, Ninja Tune’s refined environments, not forgetting the melodies of some electronic radio, and continuously updating their bag of influences. With Lies they merge many passions into a single project, developing a very deep and atmospheric sound.
