Mud Wise is Nicola Lucchese, born between water and earth of the Venetian shoal. He receives his first welder as a gift when he was 14 years old, then he constructs his own protosampler, it cancels from floppy Street Fighter and Super Frog and with its Amiga 500 starts to record and sample from the radio, vinyls and the musicassette. Started from hip-hop in order to arrive to techno the more essential thing, Mudwise proposes a personal concept of radical and manual electronics. Always searching for the craftsmanship of the sound, he contributes with his own vision of the waves to musical projects like Captain Mantell (Irma Records), Space Shoal (autoprodotto), En Rico EnCola (Tiny Records) and Sticking Drops (TestTube and Mirakel Musik).

The year 2012 definitely marks his devotion to the analogical sound: pond, resistances, encircled printouts and transistor accompany him in the exploration of the modular synthesizers and in the autoengineering of the tools with whom it produces his tracks.

He also takes part to the laboratory Osc178, where he makes soundtracks of visual performances and in autumn he releases the EP Cosmagnetic (Enklav).
