BY CAR
From North: Autostrada A1 (highway), after Caserta → continue towards Bari taking the A30 junction Caserta–Salerno until up to Nola then enter in A16 Napoli–Bari(highway) towards Bari → exit to Avellino Ovest.
From South: Autostrada A3 Salerno–Reggio Calabria (highway) – after toll gate of Salerno continue to the Salerno–Avellino freeway.
From East: Autostrada A16 Napoli–Bari (highway) towards Napoli → exit to Avellino Est.

Recommended parking in via Circumvallazione or Piazza Castello or Corso Umberto.

BY BUS
From Roma: A.IR Autoservizi Irpini [air-spa.it] or Marozzi [marozzivt.it]
From Napoli: A.IR Autoservizi Irpini [air-spa.it] station beside central train station in Piazza Garibaldi
From Salerno: SITA Autoservizi [sitabus.it]

BY TRAIN
From North: get off at Napoli Centrale train station – continue with A.IR. Napoli–Avellino bus.
From South: get off at Salerno Central train station – continue with SITA Salerno–Avellino bus.
It is not recommended to reach Avellino directly by train.
