AudioPainting Visual permette di disegnare forme prestabilite derivanti o da file vettoriali o da formule matematiche inserite direttamente nel codice. Il software disegna particelle che continuano vibrare cercando di posizionarsi sempre nel punto in cui sono state create; ogni particella ha un target da raggiungere. La musica invece crea una forza di repulsione che allontana le particelle dal target. La spinta di repulsione è pari alla forza della frequenza associata. Le frequenze si distribuiranno, in proporzione, sulle particelle a seconda del numero delle stesse. I risultati estetici sono molteplici. Il touch screen morbido, in lycra, conferisce una sensazione al tatto meno fredda dei tradizionali touch.

AudioPainting Visual allows you to draw predefined shapes uploaded as vector files or mathematical formulas inserted directly into the code. The software draws particles that keep on vibrating, always trying to position theirself at the point where they were created so each particle has a target to be reached. Music instead creates a repulsive force that removes particles from their target. The force of repulsion is equal to the force of the associated frequency. The frequencies will distribute, in proportion, on the particles depending on their quantity. The aesthetic results are varied. The soft touch screen, made with lycra, gives a less cold touch feel.

Mauro Ferrario è un interaction designer e web developer. Focalizza la sua attenzione principalmente su progetti di interaction e visual design. Dopo aver frequentato lo IED di Milano, inizia a lavorare come sviluppatore di siti web presso Smallfish, dove collabora tutt’ora. Durante gli ultimi anni, l’interesse per la programmazione e l’arte digitale lo hanno portato ad approfondire altri linguaggi di programmazione come OpenFrameworks. Dal 2012 collabora con lo studio Roberto Fazio come “creative coder” con l’intento di sperimentare nuovi soluzioni volte alla realizzazione di progetti artistici innovativi.

Mauro Ferrario is an interaction designer and a web developer. He focuses primarily on projects of interaction and visual design. After attending the IED in Milan, he began working as a web developer at Smallfish, where he still works. During the last years, his interests in programming and digital art led him to learn other programming languages such as openFrameworks. From 2012 collaborated with Roberto Fazio as a creative coder to try new solutions to achieve innovative artistic projects
